I acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of Country on which I live, work, learn and play - the Turrbal People North of Meanjin, and the Jagera People to the South.
I am a human services professional and educator specialising in the Big Picture Learning Design in the senior years of schooling. From 2013 to 2024, I was the Co-Principal, along with Frances Missen, of Jabiru Community College (JCC). JCC is an independent Special Assistance School serving students and their families who are underserved by traditional education models (not to mention our social, political and economic systems of exclusion and inequality).
My practice framework in both educational and human service contexts is client-centred, strengths based and celebrates the diversity of the human experience. My practice draws from narrative and brief solutions focused therapies, and constructivist models of education.
